While most laser procedures produce a thermal effect to stimulate collagen renewal, our Harmony ClearVein laser uses a specially designed fractional Q-Switched laser to achieve a deep mechanical effect, focusing the energy beneath the epidermis. This creates a controlled dermal wound while leaving the epidermis intact.
The cooled Long Pulsed Nd:YAG laser module is designed for the treatment of both superficial and deep blood vessels as well as leg veins. The 1064nm wavelength is optimally absorbed by oxyhemoglobin with relatively low absorption by melanin, triggering photothermolysis of the haemoglobin chromophore while avoiding damage to the epidermis.
For vascular lesions the Cooled LP ND:Yag is very effective, for the smaller lesions the Dye-VL applicator may be used.
