Q. Can the Harmony XL Pro laser be combined with other skin treatments?
A. Yes, combined treatments are highly recommended.
Q. How many ClearSkin sessions before I will notice a change in acne / acne scars?
A. There may be some improvement from the first session, but after 3-4 sessions there should be a noticeable improvement.
Q. How many sessions are recommended for the ClearSkin laser acne treatment?
A. This varies, on average 4-6 sessions and then maintenance as necessary but your therapist will create a bespoke treatment programme tailored to your skin and your goals.
ClearSkin treatments usually take around 30 minutes and we’d recommended a course of 4 - 6 treatments, spaced 2 weeks apart, to maximise results. Improvements should be visible after the first few sessions.

Science & Technology
While most laser procedures produce a thermal effect to stimulate collagen renewal, the Harmony ClearSkin cooled Er:Glass laser uses a specially designed fractional Q-Switched laser to achieve a deep mechanical effect, focusing the energy beneath the epidermis. The laser is non-ablative, which means that it heats up the tissue, but does not destroy it. By penetrating under the surface, your skin quickly heals and regenerates the areas that were affected, even though nothing was actually destroyed or hurt in the process.
Pre & Post Treatment Care
This treatment doesn’t require any specific pre or post care treatment but your therapist may prescribe other treatments and/or home care products to enhance your results. You will require a patch test and consultation at least 24 hours prior to your first treatment.
